Steriline Scholarship Opens Gates to Career Opportunities
- On February 6, 2018
This year the Steriline/ARMA scholarship provides the opportunity to visit 3 Countries.
The Singapore Turf Club is once again supporting the Steriline / ARMA scholarship, and this year the Hong Kong Jockey Club will be including the
Sha Tin and Happy Valley racecourses along with the new Conghua Training Complex in China.
The exciting new development of the training complex in China is to be opened in August 2018. This will provide the successful scholarship applicant with an insight into the newest training facilities in the world!
The scholarship is open to all aspiring Australian racecourse managers who are keen to build their knowledge and career in the industry.
When asked about the Steriline Racing / ARMA Scholarship, John Ridley from the Hong Kong Jockey Club commented
The future of track management in my opinion, relies upon our ability to employ people who believe we offer meaningful career opportunities. To ensure this is achievable, you must be able to provide a structured training and skills upgrade program, an integrated career path and associated rewards package. They must also understand the key results objectives that you require, so that their progression can be monitored and thus rewarded.Based on the above, I believe programs such as the Steriline Scholarship, form part of the philosophy covering learning and reward.
This year will provide an experience that has never been available before. So if you have ever thought of applying, this is definitely the year.
Keep up to date on our website and Facebook page for further information. Applications will be opened soon.
