Winx has broken the world record of straight victories for flat racing, at a staggering 24 races, with majority starting from Steriline Racing [starting gates](https://www.sterilineracing.com/our-products/starting-gates/).

After all the excitement that came with the George Ryder Stakes in the early afternoon, the focus could then turn to the major race of the day, with the [starting gates](https://www.sterilineracing.com/our-products/starting-gates/) to open for the Longines Golden Slipper. The major race of the day, with prize money of A$3.5 million, it was Estijaab who jumped from the gates to take the win.
